KUVADS

Family ritual that is born of a primitive society. During labor the next father behaves like the woman in labor; moans, bends, plays Scud pain and so on. After the baby is born man continues to lie in bed, follow the diet, along with his wife adopted congratulations. Apparently kuvads symbolizes man’s participation in childbirth, striving to alleviate the suffering of women. In some places, this tradition has survived to the present day.
